Pearl Confetti is a 2-piece coord set in handloom cotton — an off-white ivory ground woven with thin vertical stripes and small scattered dot butis alternating between coral and periwinkle blue. The dots are not printed. They are woven directly into the fabric as supplementary weft — the marks of a loom, not a block. Hold the fabric up to light and you'll see the weave structure behind every dot.

The Anarkali kurta falls to near-ankle length — so when it's worn with the palazzo, you get a layered floor-grazing look. The flare is generous, the fabric drapes softly, and the off-white ground with its multicoloured dots sits well in natural light. Styled with clear-heel sandals and a wicker bag, it's summer dressing that doesn't try too hard.

The two pieces can be separated: the kurta with white cotton pants for a cleaner daily look, or the palazzo with a plain ivory or white top. But worn together, the identical fabric creates a seamless, cohesive silhouette.

Fabric

100% Handloom Cotton — hand-woven. The slight texture and natural irregularity of the weave is the signature of handloom fabric. Breathable, gets softer with every wash, and holds the woven dot pattern cleanly without any surface print.

Craft

Supplementary weft weaving — the coral and periwinkle dot motifs are woven into the base fabric using additional weft threads on the loom. This is a more time-intensive technique than block printing: each coloured dot requires an additional pass of the shuttle across the weaving frame. The vertical stripes are created through colour changes in the warp arrangement.

Care

Hand wash separately in cold water. Do not wring. Dry flat in shade. Iron on medium heat on reverse. Do not bleach. First wash may release slight colour — normal for naturally dyed supplementary weft threads.

Wear as a complete set — the identical fabric makes it effortless. The Anarkali kurta falls near-ankle, and the palazzo underneath creates a layered, flowing look. WASH CARE

Hand wash both pieces separately in cold water with mild detergent. The first wash may release slight colour from the supplementary weft threads — this is normal for naturally dyed yarn. Do not wring or twist. Dry flat in shade away from direct sunlight (which can yellow white cotton). Iron on medium heat on the reverse side. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
