Navy Chalk is a two-piece handloom cotton coord set — a long A-line kurta in navy with woven tan vertical stripes, paired with a wide-leg cream palazzo. The kurta’s contrast cream mandarin collar and wide turned-back cuffs bridge the two pieces: the cream of the cuffs is the same cream of the palazzo. It’s a considered detail, not a coincidence.

The stripe is woven in, not printed — tan/camel weft threads worked into the navy cotton ground at the loom. The stripe has the texture and depth of the weave behind it. Move and it catches light differently. Stand still and it reads as clean vertical structure.

Wear the set together: navy kurta, cream palazzo, brown loafers, silver jhumkas. Or wear the kurta separately over white trousers, white palazzos, or even blue jeans. The cream cuffs keep it anchored to the palette either way.

The set is already styled — wear the cream palazzos with the navy kurta as intended. Brown leather loafers (as shown) are exactly the right footwear: warm tan against the navy-and-cream. Large silver oxidised jhumkas (as seen across the shoot) give the right balance of craft and personality. A black chain bag or navy sling adds depth. For work: brown loafers, small gold studs, a structured tote. The cream cuffs invite cream or ivory jewellery if you want a tonal look. WASH CARE

Hand wash separately — navy may run slightly in the first wash. Wash kurta and palazzo together or in cold water with mild detergent. Do not wring. Dry flat in shade. Iron on medium heat on reverse. Do not bleach. The handloom cotton will soften with every wash.
