Amber Grid is a standalone kurta in handloom woven cotton — camel amber and charcoal grey threads woven into a bold grid check on a white ground. The silhouette is a wide A-line with a generous swing that shows clearly in movement. The neckline is a clean wide boat neck — no collar, no button, no ornamentation at the front. The front is plain. The detail is at the back: two small buttons at the centre back neckline, opening the collar just enough to pull the kurta on. It's a quiet detail in a place most people don't look. Fabric

100% Handloom Cotton — woven check. The camel/amber, charcoal, and white threads are arranged in both warp and weft directions on the loom to create the grid. The intersecting colours create the intermediate tones visible in the check. Gets softer with every wash.

The Back Button Detail

Two small buttons at the centre back neckline are the only closure on this kurta. They open the neckline just enough to put the garment on — the boat neck would otherwise be too snug to pull over the head. This construction choice keeps the front entirely clean. Every button on this kurta is at the back. The front asks for nothing from you.

Care

Hand wash in cold water. Wash separately first time — the check colours may bleed slightly. Do not wring. Dry flat in shade. Iron on medium heat on reverse. Do not bleach.

Where the two threads intersect, intermediate tones appear — this layered colour quality is native to woven checks and doesn't occur in printed checks. The fabric has the natural slightly irregular texture of handloom cotton and softens noticeably with washing.

White wide-leg pants or palazzos (as shown) are the clearest contrast against the camel check. A brown leather shoulder bag or tote (as shown against the yellow Ambassador) pulls the warm amber tones out of the check. WASH CARE

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Wash separately in the first wash. The camel and charcoal threads may release slight colour — this is normal for woven check cotton. Do not wring or twist. Dry flat in shade. Iron on medium heat on the reverse side. When ironing, avoid placing the iron directly on the back button area. Do not bleach.
